We wrapped up Unit 1 and everyone did very well on the assessment. Back to basics with the start of Unit 2, addition and subtraction. One thing I noticed was that some of the kids struggled when decimals were involved.

Students enjoyed writting some classified ads this week, you should ask them to share them with you. Items ranged from bikes to best friends. The kids did have a lot fun with the assigment.

In our read-a-loud book Sam had a little Halloween trouble and is in need of a bath! Kids have been doing a great job making connections and predicting events.

In S.S. we started off with some Spanish Conquistadors and wrapped up today with a look at Samuel De Champlain.

At Poetry Time today everyone did a fabulous job presenting in front of the class.
